He’s an idiot, because he traveled into a riot zone (not near his home) with a loaded rifle looking for trouble. His prepubescent ass wanted to play cop. He had no business there. Considering how many civilians have enough trouble covering their ass in justified shootings like Castle Doctrine where intruder was in THEIR HOUSE…this should be an open shut for the prosecution.

You mean like the felon with the gun who has received no charges or the people not there to peacefully protest ? You know the ones who obviously would happily harm you or your family if the opportunity presented itself. I didn't see anyone else arrested or fined or even being held accountable. At the end of the day the attackers had a choice not engage in violence against another person or take the risk that the "victim" was not a victim at all and was capable.
