If my community had night after night of riots destroying local businesses and the cops stood by and watched as the community burned and the business owners asked and pleaded for help, damn straight I would be there to help them. Believe me when I told you, I do not what to be a cop (maybe fireman, they are cool), I don't want to be a hero (matter of fact the fewer people who know I'm there the better). I think it's just being a responsible member of the community.

    yeah? im calling BULLSHIT
so when some group of mostly peaceful protesters come to burn down your house and or buisness, Im sure you will sit back and smile because theres no one who really has a reason to be there?
When the cops are going to sit this one out
it falls to the private citizens to maintain law and order.
So if no one other than you has a reason to defend that property, I'll bet 100% you will be wishing for someone like Kyle to be your backup.

According to them, property is not worthy of protection.

Unless it's their property then armed guards are A-OK.

I think it was a poor choice to have Richards do the close. Chirafasi has been much better all trial with presenting the evidence, showing the jury how it proves the defense's case, with clarity and consistency. Richards meandered all over the place. It was almost like stream of consciousness the way he was going from statement to statement. I liked the way he went witness by witness, but it seemed jumbled and incoherent at times. Makes me wonder if it's not an ego thing. The 'lead' lawyer wants to be 'the guy' to do the close. I think it was to the detriment of Kyle. Richards may still get the job done, but I don't think he was the best man for the job.

Who gets the last word in the closings? Defense or prosecution. I know the judge mentioned it before they started it, but I missed what was said.
