Default Flat faced mil spec trigger for ar15?

Maybe a dumb question, but does anybody make a flat faced ar15 trigger that is mil spec? I want to try it and see if i like it before committing to a more expensive trigger.

Bull Moose Tactical makes an inexpensive flat-faced AR trigger. Though I will say, a flat faced trigger is better suited to a single stage setup and its benefits are lost if there's a lot of over travel. AIM Surplus has an excellent, inexpensive, flat-faced drop in trigger. It's $60 more than the BMT trigger, but IMO worth the money.

    BTW - If it's flat-faced, it's no longer mil-spec.

I saw the bull moose tactical one and the reviews overall seemed okay. But there were a few bad ones as well.

I'm pretty much set on keeping a single stage trigger.

Yeah yeah. I know. It isn't exactly milspec, but you knew what i meant thankfully.

I'll look at the aim surplus trigger. Thank you.

I suppose another option (if it exists) is a trigger shoe for a milspec trigger to give it a flat face.

LaRue has their MBT-1S that seems to fit your bill. However, finding one in stock might be tricky.

I second the Larue MBT triggers if you’re looking for milspec or close to it. I wanted crisper so I grabbed Geissele SSA and SSA-E triggers.
