Selling rifle to C&R
If an eligible rifle is sold to a C&R holder, does the C&R holder need a copy of the seller's driver's license? I figured it would be just like a FTF on the seller's end. Thanks.

Re: Selling rifle to C&R
If a firearm is purchased under the C&R , the license holder must log the firearm into a bound book. I use the same FFL Acquisition and Disposition book Brownells sells to dealers and log sellers info just like I did as a retail dealer. I don't make a photo copy , but I do ask to see a D/L or LTCF and write down the important stuff in the book as required. If the sellers balks at that , no deal.
A FTF sale is legal in PA , and ya don't have to exchange ID , but it does CYA if the gun turns out to be stolen. If ya get caught with a stolen gun , and they ask who ya bought it from , ''I don't know'' ain't gonna cut it.Last edited by abner13; September 17th, 2020 at 07:51 PM.
