    Default Tikka in 6.5 Creedmore

While discussing neighborhood preparation in the event of an "event", I had the opportunity to handle my neighbors new Tikka in 6.5 Creedmore with a high end Leopold scope.
My god, I've NEVER felt such a light trigger direct from the box, I never got past the first S in the BRASS method.

Tikka offers the best factory action that you will find. I've owned a few Tikkas and they all shoot. There is a smith in Chester Co that works on TIkka's, if you ever want to upgrade. The 6.5CM is a good caliber as well. I have a Tikka T3x in 308 that I'm thinking about putting a 6.5CM as I have a lot of CM reloading components.

I’ve got a tikka tac a1 in 6.5. It’s an amazing out of the box chassis rifle. The rugers May shoot well but they just lack the fit finish and polish that the tikka has

I took a long-range precision rifle course a couple years back from a former Marine Sniper, and he used and recommended the Tikka 6.5 Creedmore. It is probably the best rifle value for the money going right now, very hard to beat.

It would certainly be my choice. Love the 6.5. including .260 Remington and 6.5 Swedish Mauser.

I*m a Savage guy, although I build full custom rifles. Regardless, Tikka rifles are made by Sako. Of course they are the best out of the box. Incredibly smooth actions, crisp triggers & shoot very well. Looking to upgrade or build a complete custom from a used Action, there are better options. But if looking for an off the shelf rig, hard pressed to find better.

I*ve gone a t3 in 308 and it*s one of my favorite. Cleans up nice after a day of shooting also.
