Any luck finding primers and powders?
I've been trying (mostly unsuccessfully) to get primers. I've hit up most of the usual brick and mortar as well as online retailers. I did luck out two weeks ago with Brownells and scored 2k Federal large rifle primers. About 10 minutes after I placed my order and got a confirmation, they were completely sold out.
Having difficulty getting H4350 or IMR 4895 as well. I bought the last 2 bottles of 4895 from Tommy Gun last week. Asked Bob when they'd get more and they weren't sure.Don't wish ill for your enemies. Plan it.

Found Lil'Gun and 209 primers at Fin Feather & Fur in Boardman, OH a couple weeks ago. They had a decent selection of other powders, primers and components as well.

Re: Any luck finding primers and powders?
I was in Sarco in Easton today. They have plenty of powder and projectiles, primers not so much.

Powder is easy to find. Primers are the problem.
My usually reliable sources have dried up over the last month.

Re: Any luck finding primers and powders?
Put a classified in a local online classified add site like Renug, (formerly Pennswood), or Armslist and ask for a sale or trade for the primers you want. You can offer cash or may be able to trade for them.
This is what I did and scored what I needed for a great price. What little primers you may find will have a hefty $$$ tag and a limit on the amount you can purchase.Engineers make things idiot proof! Evolution makes better idiots!

Just picked up 5k small pistol primers from CAC in ebensburg the other week. That was all they would let me buy. They are a major distributor.

Re: Any luck finding primers and powders?
Recently, I decided to start loading for 9mm and I didn't have any small pistol primers. They are difficult to locate, but I manged to get some at Shyda's in Lebanon Co. Shyda's has a 1k limit on primers, so I don't have a ton of small pistol primers. I was able to trade my small rifle primers for some small pistol primers, thanks to a member on this forum.
I have a ton of other reloading components, but because I never loaded for 9mm before, I was short on those supplies. I typically make the hour plus drive to Shyda's as it's my reloading store. Buy whatever you can, that's for sure.
