Scope mount help
I bought a 1-4 24 scope for my AR. Says that it's a 30 mm tube. So I bought a mount that says it's for 30 mm tubes. But its to small. Won't fit in it.
I'm confused as to why not. This is my first variable scope.
So I obviously did something wrong. Or something is wrong on the mount or scope labeling.
Scopes a vortex crossfire II.
Looking for help.If the Internet says it, then it must be true.

Re: Scope mount help
All the crossfire ii scopes I see are labeled as 1", not 30mm, which would make sense that the scope is too small for 30mm rings:

Which scope specifically do you have? What specific rings did you get??

Scope won't fit in the mount/rings scope is to big. Even though it's a 1" mount/rings.
I feel like I just doing something wrong.

Re: Scope mount help
If it's a budget build (you didn't mention the Ring Mfg), I've successfully used Monstrum Rings on many of my budget builds and keep several hights and sizes on hand because they're inexpensive.

Re: Scope mount help
Scope is 30mm tube, you bought 1" rings.. Does not compute.... Get 30mm rings

Re: Scope mount help
It is a budget build. On unemployment right now. But besides the the point lol.
So what would be a good mount for the scope that's under $100
