Re: Turning 50 in December ...green light on firearm purchase
Black powder is cheap if you can make the trip to Clearfield. That's where I get it.
$262.50/25lbs of black powder here...

Re: Turning 50 in December ...green light on firearm purchase
There was and maybe still is a huge black powder place off Rt 78, about 4 or 5 exits west of where the turnpike crosses it west of Allentown before the 78/81 joining. Have not been there is over 20 years, 90-91 but it was a huge barn kinda in the middle of nowhere and they had everything you can imagine in black powder including fully built cannons on caissons with the small wagon for ammo storage you hooked the horses up to. Spent damn near 4 hours looking at stuff. They were pretty busy.

Thompson SMG clone, Luger (guessing you may already have though, if u collect WW2), designated long range rifle like a Ruger Precision Rifle, or a nice semi rifle like a M1A or H&K USC

Re: Turning 50 in December ...green light on firearm purchase
I got a little lost here with the boundaries on our recommendations, and given the price limit of ~$2G my desire exceeds that a bit(MSRP $2799), but with H&K now selling us the SP5 how can any serious collector not want that in their collection?
*ETA: Yikes I just went to gunbroker to see what they are asking for - LMAO a gun that exceeds MSRP and not by just a little"It seems that the Constitution is more or less guidelines than actual rules"
