Ammo spotted thread
Hopefully there isn't another one of these threads around.
Thought it would be a good place to post in person ammo sighting.
I was at Johnston's sporting goods in Croydon yesterday doing a transfer. I haven't been there since it was across the street as part of the auto business. Nice store. Friendly owner.
They had lots of ammo in stock. Limits on some varieties. Pricing was certainly not pre riots and covid, but also nowhere near the worst I've seen.
They pretty much had all calibers in stock. Maybe not my top pick brands. But any port in a storm.

Re: Ammo spotted thread
D3 Gunner in Fairless Hills has some ammo in stock with no limit as of Wednesday when I stopped in.
They are a new shop in the process of opening up, so their hours are currently limited and in the process of adding inventory.

Re: Ammo spotted thread
I haven't gone into a gun shop looking for ammo in... well, I was going to say 20 years, but I went to two during the 2012/2013 panic.
Never saw ammo in a gun shop that wasn't panic-priced without a panic.

Re: Ammo spotted thread
Was at Sportsman's Supply in Butler to pick up my new gun today. They have a ton of guns and ammo in stock. Ammo prices are elevated.
Life has a melody. Not great, not terrible.

Re: Ammo spotted thread
Maybe a new Walmart ammo thread?? Yeah, I know, they don't sell pistol and "short-barrel" rifle ammo any more. But how about the prices and availability, at Walmart, of .308, .30-06, .300WinMag, or 12ga/20ga slugs and buckshots?

Re: Ammo spotted thread
Not a problem and they are about 5 minutes or so from me.
They are in the same shopping center as De Lorenzo’s and next door to the rc shop.
Talking to one of the owners the other night, they are planning on having a grand opening end of this month/beginning of next month. He also said they have a lot of big plans within the next year also.

Re: Ammo spotted thread
I was in The Sportsman’s Shop in East Earl about a month ago buying a couple of pistols and at that time you could only buy ammo if you where buying a new or used firearm.
