Looks like at least some of the company is salvageable. JJE Capital (a/k/a Palmetto State Armory) is bidding on the ammo business piece.

While most of Remington I can live without, I would like to see their classic shotguns (870, 1100, etc) survive as well as Marlin. Especially Marlin. Any word on Marlin?

Their ammo business was always the one part that worth a damn. Their green and white box hollowpoints were a great value for the money. When they could be found.

The only factory ammo i ever had a dud from was Remington. 30.06 round. I still buy it. But it isn't my first, second, third, or even 4th choice.

Yeah, they can put it up as a Daily Deal or Black Friday Sale for $4/box more than anyone else sells it.
