Both of my 12 gauge Remington's are 3 inch but there's no shorty shells of any manufacturer available at this point. You can still find 20 gauge slugs and 000 buckshot which is about as effective as the shorty 12 gauge or maybe slightly better.

I've shot a few different types of the aguila mini shells and my experience is that the only way they work is in a mossberg with the opsol adapter. I'd be amazed if any autoloading shotgun would cycle them. My wife loves to shoot the mini slugs with our mossberg 500 and the opsol adapter; hits the steel hard but there's virtually zero felt recoil.

Where are y*all finding mini shells in stock? Everywhere I*ve been the last few months they have been sold out. My Shockwave loves the Federal, Aguila & Challenger mini*s. Fired hundreds of each flawlessly with the OpSol adaptor.
