Politicians get huge tax-free allowances for mailing junk. Millions of tons of unwanted junk mail , processed at highly cut rates , is a big reason the USPS is always in trouble.

Bulk mail rate is about 17 cents as opposed to 55 cents for a stamp.

Bulk mail permit is $235.00/year.
