or at least some random person at my address, to register to vote. A couple of things wrong with this: first, I am already registered to vote, and two, I am the only person who lives at this address. The very personal envelope is shown below, at least they did use my actual address.


A fraction of a second searching the interwebs for "center for voter information" comes up with a lot of scam warnings, one typical article is

According to Mr. Googles's map the return address on the envelope is a UPS mailbox location in Union Square strip mall

the #907 in the address is a dead giveaway.

The letter below was included, along with a two sided printout of two pages taken straight from the PA voter registration form:

and a postage paid (from a VPC postage meter) return envelope to my county's voter registration office.

I don't think my address was specifically targeted, it sounds like these Posterior Apertures just send out bulk mail to every address in an area in hopes a few fish will bite.
