Years ago a friend bought a 375 H&H. He was afraid of the recoil. He held the butt to a wooden telephone or electric pole. I told him not to do it, that he was gonna wreck the stock. Stock was broken and had to be replaced.

Those bases look great. Id keep them. Leopold scope would be my choice.
