Montgomery County new procedures for LTCF starting 9-9-2020

Two things stick out .. they won't process non-residents and say not to bring a weapon. Sorry, but your deputies can get off their ass and store my firearm as required by the law (in fairness everytime I've gone there they had no problem with it).

*The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office DOES NOT issue non-resident gun permits.

Firearms License Application

Pennsylvania Law requires the Sheriff of Montgomery County to process all Applications for License to Carry Firearms.

We are required to process all applications, but we won't process out of state applications. I may send the sheriff an email and ask he "which is it?"

They'll process the application (thru the shredder), just won't issue the license.

Sounds like they've adopted the Philly procedures.
