Sir, your grasp of the obvious is unparalleled.
Too many THINK, things will be OK.
    They will NOT.

Want to top off my heating oil but need to get at least 150 gal. for the discount and since the 275gal tank is about 1/2 full I will have to wait a bit and keep my fingers crossed.

Siphon off twenty or thirty gallons and call for a fill. Get some five gallon gas cans , or buckets and dump it back in the tank as you use it up.

Call 'em and ask if you can pre-pay it. It's a pretty common practice these days.

My wife just started a part-time job at a grocery store. Worked three days so far, but is seeing a common theme in what people are buying. She*s on the checkout line all day and the top 10 items by the load.......drum roll please:

TP, paper towels, sugar, flour, bacon, cleaners, canned soup, butter, eggs, rice. Lots of bargain brand cereal too.

No shock in that list. But it*s crazy how everyone mirrors. I*d like to see some hygiene items on that list. We*ll all smell like the Amish.

The potential of being cold isnt worth the few pennies saved for myself.

The correct answer is to buy a second tank, potentially a transfer tank, to increase your capacity. It may allow you to break into the next tier of discounts too

My neighbor just got in from a shopping trip and reports craziness in full swing at Walmart with no TP or PT on the shelves and everything else being hoarded. I was out at 0700 and there was an unusually large crowd for that time of day at the store. I do not know if it's because of the time change or hoarding in action but I did not notice anyone with baskets full of TP or PT. All stocks were normal.
