    Default Shortages

It seems obvious why Guns, Ammo and Mountain House are in short supply.

Why are frozen pizzas, laundry detergent and sour cream in short supply?

Because everybody has different ideas of prepping. LOL

Just stopped into the Hamburg Cabelas to cry:
    - handgun case is BARE - a few single-action revolvers and a Sig P210
    - long gun racks are bare - some shotguns
    - AMMO - dont ask

I've noticed the same thing, a lot of products are in short supply, and we're seeing brands I'venever seen before.

I know that I sound like a broken record in these prepping threads and it's meant to pound this fact into your brains. Salt is plentiful now, salt is really, really cheap now and salt is essential to life and preserving food. Take advantage of the plethora of salts available for a pittance right now. Salt is a mineral and does not go rancid, stale, burn or lose it's value unless wetted. If distribution channels are broken, salt will be either much more expensive or unobtainium.

If you ain't got ammo by now, it's not too late but, it's too late to get it for a pittance.

I can use my ammo and convince someone else to give me some salt. I don't go to the store much right now but I was shocked to find them out of croutons for a while. Is there a cannon of some sort that shoots croutons?

I never understood why you just didn't make your own croutons.
