    Default Shortages

It seems obvious why Guns, Ammo and Mountain House are in short supply.

Why are frozen pizzas, laundry detergent and sour cream in short supply?

Just stopped into the Hamburg Cabelas to cry:
    - handgun case is BARE - a few single-action revolvers and a Sig P210
    - long gun racks are bare - some shotguns
    - AMMO - dont ask

Stopped by this past Saturday. I have never, seen this place this bare, ever. Even during the last ammo shortage. This is actually now a real concern.

Yous Yinzers outta hit Cabela's in Tridelphia, they have lots of stock but I didn't see anything in terms of the ammo we like. Lots of pistols and rifles and other stuff though. Even tannerite.

I was just there on Saturday. They had so little pistol ammo that the pistol ammo aisle was gone. All I saw was a few boxes of 25 ACP. Pathetic!

I've noticed the same thing, a lot of products are in short supply, and we're seeing brands I'venever seen before.

I know that I sound like a broken record in these prepping threads and it's meant to pound this fact into your brains. Salt is plentiful now, salt is really, really cheap now and salt is essential to life and preserving food. Take advantage of the plethora of salts available for a pittance right now. Salt is a mineral and does not go rancid, stale, burn or lose it's value unless wetted. If distribution channels are broken, salt will be either much more expensive or unobtainium.
