I contacted them about getting a booth, but by the time they got back to me there weren't any left, really. Plus, Columbus Day weekend is my official "winterize the house" weekend. I change the oil, etc. on the generator and snowblower, prep.the chainsaws, clean thye kerosene stove in preperatiin of lighting it up for the winter in a couple weeks, take in the lawn furniture, etc. Basically, prep the outside for winter on what is routinely the last consistantly warm weekend of the year. And with rain forecast all day tomorrow, I had to finish it all in two days, not three.

Ha! What is this "free time" of which you speak?

PM me a cell # and your name. It's nice to know some local folks. Hodgie and I were supposed to go squirrel hunting today, but it's just raining too hard.

You never take 209. Hit 402 in Marshals creek. It's always better.

I went Sunday. It was pretty good. I bought one of the wooden flags from Grain to Glory. Talked to Clint at Coat of Arms. He does some really great work on gun coatings. We listened to a couple speakers, grabbed some food and left. Super nice people. Almost no masks which was great. It was nice being normal for a day. I missed the Mountain meats booth or I would have stopped in. I'll definitely go next year.

Didn't have a booth...maybe next year. Ran into a lot of my farm market jerky customers. Great day, and, yes, very few masks was a treat. Youngest seemed to enjoy it as well.

    ^^^Yup!^^^

That's actually the way I go to New England. I take 84 into CT and bypass NJ and NYC.

Is anybody, aside from Roadking, going this year?

I've got a booth this year to try to drum up some classes. I'll be doing some free skills demonstrations at my booth a few times each day, plus I have a metric buttload of knives and axes that I no longer use, an inline muzzle loader, and some ammo in calibers I no longer have guns for, that I'm looking to offload as well.

Stop by to chat, make a deal, and maybe schedule a class for your gun club or scout group.
