Title 18 defines a vehicle as *[a] conveyance of any kind, whether or not motorized, that is designed to transport people or property. *
Title 75 (The Motor Vehicles Code which is different than where 6106 is which is in Title 18) additionally defines vehicle, this time as *every device in, upon or by which any person or property is or may be transported or drawn upon a highway, except devices used exclusively upon rails or tracks. Yeh, but I had one dipshit warden check my rifle in the back of my SUV as I changed boots. He was surprised that I had cleared it before even coming near my car, and the magazine was in my pocket. The law wasn't meant to punish someone for just inadvertently putting a loaded rifle in a vehicle while obviously coming in for the day.
