I'm also in the camp that you need to find a better lawyer and likely take care of all the fines. I seriously doubt you will ever get your license back without first paying them.

Agree. While Scofflaw Warrants are minor, it is better to take care of them at your convenience and not when you least expect it or are out and about.

Get a better lawyer or at least a public defender, plead your case. You will most likely have a better outcome, possibly a payment plan, etc. Ignoring them is the worst thing you can do. And yes, don*t drive in the meantime.

Alright, well I suppose I'll throw my hat in now, since you have summoned the speed demon. I have probably been pulled over close to 20 times. I like speeding. I typically get a speeding ticket annually, at least bi-annually. I've never yet been suspended for it, nor have I ever tried to hide from the consequences of my actions, so I can't comment on that aspect. I do perpetually carry some amount of points against my license. I couldn't tell you why you never get pulled over and I get pulled over a lot. You're free to speculate.

I just tried to run a tally in my head and I can only recall 9 specific incidents. Perhaps my imperfect memory was leading me to exaggerate a bit, although probably I am simply forgetting some incidents as well. Most likely, a mix of the two. Let's say 12-14, realistically.

As far as my insurance rates, I don't even know. My wife is the book keeper of the family. I imagine though, it it was unreasonable, she'd have been giving me me crap about it by now.

I've been driving since around 1983 and I have been pulled over once - on the turnpike - for exceeding the speed limit. Once.
And I always exceed the speed limit on highways or rural 45+ mph roads.
Once. In my whole (driving) life.
How does a person get pulled over "around 20 times"???

I got pulled over 21 times in the first year and a half I had my DL.
