Smith and Wesson Super 1000 shotgun. It was a jam o matic for most of the time I owned it. I bought it used from Kerpers in the early 90's. I was finally able to get it working by replacing the shell stopper plate and ejector and a few other parts from Numrich. This is when I found that the 1000 model had different parts than the Super 1000. The gun was made by Howa in Japan. Right after I got it working I sold to a co-worker. It almost ended up in Marsh creek Lake after it jammed on me for a follow up shot on a cockbird right after I had replaced a few parts and it seemed to work. The shell stop plate and the spring were the actual problem. Piece of crap gun good riddens. I still have a stock and forend for it if anyone is interested.

Every Ruger product I ever bought was a project. 10/22 needed a bunch of aftermarket stuff to cycle things even after sending it back. LCP wore out the guide rod in two range trips. 22/45 was horribly sighted in and I hated everything about the mag safety and went full on Volquartsen to like it. LC9 (original hammer version) just felt like crap and was sold in 5 days.

Curious. Was that an original or their reworked, new, improved model?

This was version 2, purchased ew December of 2018.
It was a champ at failure to feed, failure to fire (light strikes), stove pipes, etc. I would never use it as my edc, zero confidence.
That being said, its a damn good looking gun in my opinion.

    Taurus PT22
One of my first handgun purchases at 21.
I thought it would be a great cheap backpacking gun. Had issues with the barrel release popping off while shooting.

At first I thought it was my grip, and I may have been nudging the release but that wasn*t it. Sent it back to Taurus. They sent it back after six weeks and it was better. But still popped open occasionally at the range. It went back one more time and three weeks later I received it again. They seemed to have fixed it but I had lost confidence in that gun and the brand.
    Traded it away.

Many years later I bought a PT92. It ran well and was a tack driver. But I finally decided to bid farewell to all things cheap. Sold it a while ago and have not turned back since. Glocks and Sigs!

1970ish FIE Model E15 single action .22 revolver.
Made in Italy imported to Fla. by FIE.
Kinda remember cost new was around $40, delivered on a Sat. night.
Workmanship would be admirable if done by 4th graders in shop class.
    But obviously workforce was inebriated.
After a few rounds would like to spit lead.
Still have it, garage gun with shot load, and used to see if chrony is working.
It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.
