I do own a Jennings .22 also. It's a jam machine, but not dangerous. The 206 was actually dangerous.

    Remington R51.
I liked everything about it other than it's reliability.

    Jennings JA-22 22lr

Hands down. And luckily with all my fingers.

It auto-disassembled while firing several times. The final time it exploded, hitting me in the face with parts.

Will never own another, and will always share the horrors of them with the unaware. Jennings, Jimenez, raven, bryco, etc. Its all the same gun, same recipe.
They would get shut down for unsafe guns, sell to a family memeber for $1 reopen as a new company selling the exact same products and parts.

Yeh, I bought a Cobra, figuring, how bad could it be. Pretty bad! But never blew up. Or fired more than two rounds without jamming.

That sounds like a couple of the cars I have owned. :-) Not a ringing endorsement.

I have two 709 slims. Never an issue. You can't limp wrist it.

Also have two PT840's with no issues either. Don't like the mag rattle, but they are reliable. I know Taurus has a reputation and might be hit or miss. Fortunately, I have four good "hits".

I bought these when funds were low and then of course, you need to have a spare, just in case.

I have one of the Cobra Derringers. That actually is kinda fun though. It's a little rough, but not bad. Trigger pull is probably 20lbs on it.

Yea that was what the gun shop said too. I doubt my gorilla grip was limp wristing, I mean have you seen the whats for dinner thread lately? Either way, we tried everything and moved on from it, someone else's baby now.

Yep, that's the thing with mechanical equipment. Sometimes you get a dud, no matter the brand. The worst gun I ever had was a Springfield XD9. It would FTE and double feed at least once per magazine. Springfield finally replaced it after its third trip back to the factory. But the gun in general got wonderful reviews.
I've had two 709 Slims, both essentially flawless.
