    Default Pin & Weld??

My understanding is for a 14.5in barrel the break has to be pinned and welded (made permanent) for it to legally pass as a rifle. If this is the case, is there anyone out there in the Berks area or surrounding who can do it or knows of a place that does. Thanks in advance.

The break has to bring the overall length to 16". I think most breaks will put you over that (I know the regular A2 will)

Looking on google, looks like Superior Gunsmithing does pin and welds

    "Brake"... it's a muzzle brake.

    Unless it's BROKEN, then...

The standard A2 flash hider will bring you up about a 1/4" short, you will need one of these if going A2 style :

Form 1 SBR. Costs 200 bucks and takes a month but then you can do whatever you want with it.

Yea, but I dont wanna be limited to stock options. Not completely out-ruling it if I can get my hands on a nice adjustable brace. Plus, I have no idea what pin and weld cost, i would think it cant be much but if its damn near what the barrel cost it aint happening lol.

I may go this route pending on what a pin and weld cost. Just hate waiting.
