    Default Gun Prices

Why have gun prices recently spiked?

Is it just my observation, or are some members posting unreasonably high prices?

If the current asking prices are a true reflection of reality, than I'm a goddamn millionaire!

    IMHO

The price of each unit is increased in accordance with the demand rising and the supply shrinking. When you have items that multiple people want you raise the price in order to control the demand. Of course if you raise the price too high then nobody will buy your product, so it's a balancing act.

I'm no rocket surgeon, or economist, but supply, demand, and potential future events could be having some tiny effect on things right now.

I think the answer he's looking for (and is probably not aware of) is that there's been a huge spike in demand due to the riots going on.

My dad's a gun guy but has been busy lately and had no idea what happened to the price of guns and ammo in the past couple months.

Well if the OP is watching cnn, msnbc and the like then he might not know about the riots since according to them the riots aren't happening

Call me cynical, but I think it only gets worse from here. If Trump wins the riots will escalate, and if Biden wins the riots may or may not escalate, but he threatens the 2A at a federal level.
