Re: Gun Prices
I went to a few gun stores in the area because I was bored one day. All three places said the same thing---"guns under $500 are gone". The only thing they had were the expensive Kimber 45's and the like. Also, Every carbine was $1500 on up where 6 months ago I was seeing them from $219-$750.
They did have used guns though, which leads me to believe it's more NEW gun owners buying up the reasonably priced guns. The reason I say this is of the 10-12 people I helped buy a gun all said "You would buy a used gun"? I said "Yup---just abut every one of mine were purchased used"."I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery." Thomas Jefferson

Re: Gun Prices
To the "member" who mentioned that I may be living in my mother's basement.
Well, my mother has been dead for over 20 years. So, no, I am not living in her basement.
I am appalled by some of the comments on this board, particularly from "senior members" who feel they can say anything that suits them.
Where the hell are the "moderators" who are supposed to enforce the so called rules of this board?
Every day I see postings that don't follow the rules, and I am tired of it.
OK flamers, go for it. I certainly don't need it, but the board does need paying members, like me!
PS - I've been a member of this board for TWENTY-ONE YEARS.
Check my feedback BEFORE you make some dumb ass comment!

Can't argue about the lack of moderation, but 21 years? Are you sure you have the right forum?

Re: Gun Prices
Clearly you must not pay all that much attention if you don't expect to get "dumb ass comments" on any thread. You asked a question that could only come from someone who is totally oblivious to current events. Would you expect a thread asking "why the hell is everyone wearing a surgical mask?" to not get a similar response? You're upset over nothing.

Better let it go, before you say something non-PC and all hell breaks loose.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.
