Sometime around 2012 I rode the bike to Cabela's to get some primers. Looking around the gun counter I got talking with one of the counter guys. Aware that I missed a sale on a Yugo SKS for $199, I said i wish I could have made that sale. The guy said hang on, disappeared and returned with a nice one. He said if you really want it, I might be able to get clearance to let you have it at the sale price. And so he did. The only downside to the purchase was, at pickup, the woman behind that counter noticed the wrong serial number was on the receipt. That kept me there for a while longer.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

I bought two Mosins there for 119 each. That had to be six or seven years ago.

You guys forget that Cabela's Hamburg price matches any internet price - regardless of shipping costs. Plus discount gift cards. Plus active junky cash back. You can get ridiculous deals there with that system. If things were in stock...

I bought the only “new” retail gun in my large collection there. It was an impulse buy: Springfield XDS 3.3“ .45 amp.... nough said.

If I take a few to Cabela's to sell , will they pay me overly inflated prices?
