Reloading component costs
So, its looks like I might be too busy to not reload now. Great timing, I know.
What were the costs of components in late 2019.
I know small rifle primers were somewhere in th 3 to 4 cents a piece range.
How about a pound of powder?
9mm target shooting bullets?
.224 target bullets?

Re: Reloading component costs
I just found imr 4198 locally for $31.95, I paid $26.99 for a lb in march 2019. I am well stocked on primers , but I was at Grice gunshop Sat. Powder basically gone . They did have Federal primers ,they were $36.90 per thousand . They surprisingly had 45acp at $22.45 per 50 rd box and 2 per customer . Loaded 9mm too , didn't see the price on that .

Re: Reloading component costs
circa 2019 iirc
primers ~$30-35/1000 (my flavor was CCI)
Powder ~$30-35 per pound"It seems that the Constitution is more or less guidelines than actual rules"

Re: Reloading component costs
Last year Speer had some rebate deals that I took advantage of a few times. The last time on Midway I got birthday pricing, free shipping and they had the bullets on sale 20% off plus I got the 20% rebate so I can't remember but it came out like 5 to 6 cents per FMJ 9mm bullet. I got a lot of bullets for a long time.
I'm very good at ferreting out deals in bulk for cheap, a lot of it, the big sale or rebate might be a once or twice a year thing and they often will sell out, so you have to keep your powder dry and then roll in like an A-10 Warthog when the time is right.
What prices are now, I have no idea, haven't even bothered to look, I doubt much is available.

Re: Reloading component costs
Small pistol primers are impossible to find.
Small rifle are popping up in stock now and then but sell out quick.
My local shops are sold out of small primers at the moment.
I haven’t been able to find Power Pistol powder but the .223 powders I use are available.
The popular .224 projectiles are sold out where I have looked. I placed another order with Blue Bullets for 9mm 147gr two weeks ago and they said there is an 8 week back log.

Not popular(?), but RMR has plinking .224 55gr still available for a little bit longer. ( I believe they started off with 2million and have 200K left) Also not the 5c-6c each they sold for last year, but desperate times...
