I tuned my gas block with a regular carbine buffer, gave it an extra couple clicks, and put the magnetic buffer with the screw screw down all the way into the gun and shot it. It was like shooting a shotgun with the rubber bricks Mossberg and Remington send them out with and then switching to a limbsaver. Thank you for bringing this to my attention!

I just ordered the H1 buffer for my wife's KS-47 per Omni Robusta's recommendation. But yours works with the carbine buffer?

He has an adjustable gas block as well.

Good point. I had one when I originally built the KS-47, but it was railed and didn't fit the Geissele handguard I'd purchased. Ended up using the Geissele low profile gas block, instead.

Yeah, I'm using an aero precision adjustable gas block on that upper with a spike's tactical polished spring and the aforementioned carbine weight magnetic buffer. Which weight buffer do you have in it now? Carbine length or mid length gas system?

Re: Jerry Miculek - the future of buffers
Looks like Jerry Miculek must've bought the exclusive rights to this. The Omni Robusta site and associated videos no longer work.
Now you have to have a subscription to big daddy unlimited to purchase. That's kind of lame. From what i can tell, the price also increased a bit but i can't confirm that since I'm not a big daddy unlimited member.

The price is $99.99 and they only offer the standard buffer. BDU says they're going to offer others, but no time frame was given.

Thanks! Not as much a price increase as i was lead to believe. Materials alone probably account for that minor price increase.
Side note. Is BDU worth it?

I only joined to buy the buffer. It's .99 cents for the first month. I haven't had time to browse much. Probably won't keep the membership past the 30 day trial.

Been running one of these in a PCC. No significant benefit that I could see.
