ANYTHING in the mail from a national Pro 2A outfit (NRA, GOA, CCRKBA, 2AF) or other conservative groups (other than the magazine from the NRA and I even think it does also) that DIDN'T ask for money? I get questionnaires/polls/reports/etc., etc., etc., 2 to 4 per day, that HAVE to have my responses so they can show them to congress/President/lame street media/man on the street/and so on, that I am pro-gun, anti big government, anti new taxes, anti-illegal immigrant, anti-Obama Care, etc. They all end with "Please send us money so we can show everyone and their brother where people stand".

I would be shocked if someone said they actually got some information in the mail and the group didn't ask for a donation.

Typically, if from the GOA, 2AF, Judicial Watch, I'll open it up, read their newsletter and then file it if it's something I want to follow up on, or chuck it in the round file for recycling. If I know it is just a solicitation, I don't even open it (unless it has a nickel or dime in it, then I just slit the envelope to get the money out.) I have enough return address labels that I just shred those I get now.
