    Default Dove Stocking:Berks County

Does it happen and if so where? Can't seem to find anything on it.

I have never heard of Doves being stocked anywhere in PA(or anywhere else for that matter). They're a migratory bird and very plentiful.

I never heard of them stocking doves. They fly large distances and migrate in flocks so I don't think it will work. Pa and other states do plant crops in some hunting areas to attract them and this is what you probably heard about. You should be able to find out where on the PA site or by looking at state game lands maps.

The managed dove fields should definitely attract plenty of doves. They will also attract many hunters. A friend of mine has a pretty good flyway on a piece of his property. I am going to head out this year for the first time in a looooong time. I have a new to me old 870 Wingmaster in 20 gauge that I need to break in. Good luck!
