Default Safe to shoot or toss?

I'm going through a safe i have not opened in over a year and found 100 rounds of 10mm i had forgotten about in an open container. It's a bit corroded. Is it safe to shoot or should i toss it?

    Thanks for any info/advice

I'd pull the bullets and toss the brass/ primer/ powder. A case failure on 10mm isn't a pretty sight.

Shake them, if the powder is still loose, shoot'em.
I would "count" on them for self-defense though, target practice, yes.
Ive shot WAY worse, and 20 times the size.

Everything else in the safe is in ammo cans and looks good. I still remember putting the container in the safe thinking *i need to put that in a ammo can* then completely forgetting about it.

Looks like acid. Possibly brittle brass now. Did you clean them? The zink desoved and the copper is left. Got a Hi point 10mm carbine? Thats the only gun I'd shoot that stuff in.

Or chloride. Agree that the brass may be brittle. I'd be tempted to shoot it from behind an IDPA barricade or a sheet of plexiglass. Take a storm window from a storm door to the range with you and use it as a shield.

Is it factory ammo or remanufactured/reloaded?
