I'd have to be desperate and down to my last ammo before before risking an expensive gun or possibly my hand to save a couple of bucks.

This is not a criticism of the OP, it’s just I’m sitting here trying to decide what I would do if they were my rounds. Isn’t it funny how the question always seems much more reasonable before something goes seriously sideways than after? Right now I’m thinking, “yeah, they’re probably safe”. After it blows up in your hand then you think “what the hell was I thinking? Why did I ever take a chance on $.90 worth of ammo rather than throw it away?!” Humans are funny creatures sometimes.

Squib load that blocks up the barrel creating a dangerous obstruction or rupture the case blowing hot gas back which could forcibly eject the magazine or worse.

I think the issue is that it is not just 3 rounds. 10mm is costly. More so because it is factory ammo. Personally, if i knew for certain it was just moisture, I'd be tempted to shoot it. But you were absolutely right. I've seen plenty of videos with squib loads and thought to myself, "what an idiot, he should have stopped at the first signs of trouble." So... How much is your safety worth? Toss the ammo, or give it to somebody who reloads for parts.

I think i knew all along i would be trashing it. Sometimes you got to hear it from others. I appreciate the feedback on both sides. In the end ammo is not a toy and the potential consequences are not worth the risk. It hurts throwing 125 rounds away but i have plenty of good 10mm in reserves.

I've been a lefty all my life, i don't want to be nicknamed righty...... Or dumb ass
    Thanks again
