Re: Got a truck gun
Taurus makes junk. As a matter of fact; using it as a "truck gun" may lower the trade in value of your vehicle.

Re: Got a truck gun
My thoughts exactly. I've seen really BAD guns from Taurus and I've seen some really GOOD guns from them. The G3, from what I have read and seen myself so far are reliable and the price point pretty much made it a non brainer for an emergency gun that I won't cry about if it has to be taken and held during an investigation. It is my last resort firearm if my 4x4 Titan can't get me out of the situation.

Re: Got a truck gun
I've been running thr pt111 g2 for a few years now, from what I've seen, its almost the same gun, slightly updated. I've had no issues with it whatsoever. It just works. For a smaller framed gun, it shoots very well, isnt so snappy that you can't control it, small enough to conceal easily, and fits my large mitts really well. And like you said, if something were to happen and it get confiscated, I'm not out a ton of money or a gun that has sentimental value. Another nice feature, if it fails to go bang on the first trigger pull because of a light primer strike, you can pull the trigger again without having to rack the slide again.
