Re: Three photos. Which one is your cup of tea?
Agree with Drillnfill somewhat but a 4" or 6" is classy. Snubby, not so much. Have not owned or shot a 1911 😱. But loved Jon Wick's Kimber. JW3 really left the door open for a 4th don't you think?

Beretta by a long shot for me.
Not a Kimber or 1911 fan, and the wheelie is a beautiful example of functional historical art.It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere. Voltaire

My "cup of tea" is the one that I have out of the three, the Beretta.

I'll take the Smith.
Don't like the Beretta 92s , and don't like forward serrations on 1911 slides. They crack there.

Looks-wise, I'll near-always pick a Kimber.
Platform-wise I like the 1911, so same.
EDC/Practical? None of the above. I'll keep my 'plain jane' M&P.DGAF

Re: Three photos. Which one is your cup of tea?
I don't comment much...
1st: 1911
2nd: smith
3rd: beretta
Years ago, I used to have a Springfield 1911 of the same color scheme as the Kimber. I bought it strictly because I loved the stainless/black color scheme. It was my first and only "pretty" gun I ever owned. What I found was that I'd go to the range, toss my glocks like a football, knock my springfield XD's around like a Mike Tyson fight, then I'd get to my pretty gun...Open the padded case, set it down on something soft, just pamper it at the range. It shot well, but I guess I just liked treating my pistols more like a tool than an heirloom, and that's something I never knew about myself until I bought something nice. I eventually sold it to fund another purchase. My next buy is going to be a GI styled 1911. Something I can kick around a bit and not worry about getting fingerprint smudges on it. I'm ugly and useful, and I want my guns to follow suit.

I am a 1911 fan as long as they are in 45ACP

Kimber?...no thanks.
The Smith? Needs a 4" or 5" barrel.
The Beretta? Ok...

None of them are on same page as a Vintage Colt .. especially a cherry revolver!
