    Default Police Pistol Combat is back in Harrisburg

    Harrisburg Hunters & Anglers will be resuming monthly Police Pistol Combat Matches on Saturday August 1st. Safety briefing at 8:45 a.m. We shoot about 5 relays until 12:00 noon or so beginning at 9:00 a.m. This is a 60 round course fired in stages at 3, 7, 15 & 25 yards. Fashioned after police qualification courses. Go to our website and click on disciplines, Police Pistol Combat for match flyer and additional information. PPC is a traditional timed fire course starting with a loaded (on command) gun in holster. You can shoot center fire revolver, center fire pistol, 22, unlimited and concealed carry classes.

    Was a good shoot. I was rusty from not shooting PPC since 1993, but did ok. I'll be at the next ones too

    Next shoot this Saturday September 5th. Weather looks great.

    We will be shooting continuous Combat 600 relays at Harrisburg Hunters & Anglers, PPC Range #2 on Saturday, September 5th from 9:00 am until around noon.
    Gate opens and range setup/registration begins at 8:00 am, safety briefing at 8:45 am, hammer down at 9:00 am. Please come and join us for some fun.
    Cost is only $5 per relay. We usually run 5 relays. Shoot as many as you like.

    Awards will be cash with 50% payback to the shooters using the Lewis Classification System.

    Our matches are open to the public. New shooters are welcome, and no prior competition experience is required. We ask that new shooters contact us in advance, so we can direct you to our orientation & training materials.
    All participants will receive an official NRA B-27 target as a thank you. This is the same target used in official Police Pistol Combat matches nationwide. See photo.
    Also, complimentary water will be available.

    2020 PPC T-shirt orders will be taken at the shoot. You can also email John Kline with your order: jpkline601@gmail.com. Shirts are $9 (S-XL) or $11 (XXL & XXXL). Payment deadline has been extended to September 11th.
