Default AR 15 inflation ceiling pre-election

What are everyone's opinions on the price ceiling of a run of the mill M4, between now and election Tuesday?

Let's say a factory built PSA carbine with m lok handguard. Something that would have went for $450 in December 2019.

Shit, let's make it a poll.

Not sure. But if the election goes Democrat, that ceiling is going to go even higher.

Understood. Was trying to keep it simple. I voted $1250-$1500

I know I got bit back in 2009-2009. Took three months to locate a #10 shell holder (.223) after Odimwit was given all those guilt-ridden votes. $1250 for a Spikes Tactical. Something like $800 to assemble an AR of mixed parts. Supply and demand already showing its model.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

I think the high water mark was post Newtown. Saw some 6920s going for $2500 locally, and quickly. This could be worse. We got an election, a scamdemic, and a commie insurrection.

I dunno, it's hard to guess what panic and stupidity will bring.

I think the market is pretty saturated since Sandy Hook. That may decrease the demand a bit. I'd be surprised if a PSA Freedom rifle hit anywhere near $2k.

On a related note, I think there's a chance we will see $1 a round peak for .556 on Gunbroker and the POOFA classifieds.

what about all those AR's that were purchased and either fired once or just dropped when they receive return fire, they should be laying all around

Agreed, there is much more manufacturing capability for ARs & parts these days. I voted $1000, trying to be optimistic.

I remember 6920's selling for $3500 on Gunbroker after Newtown. I split up a Bushmaster mutt and sold the lower with Ace skeleton stock for $1200, and a CMMMG dissapator upper for $800.

If things stay status quo, I think they might get up to $1K to $1250. If the riots get much worse or if it looks like Trump will lose, I'm thinking $2K.
