Mine and wife's expired May, but we had extensions courtesy of Wolf. We both dropped in to the McKean Co. office on 8/25. Greeted by a smiling deputy, we were the only 2 there, out in 15 minutes.

My sympathies to those being so much more infringed than me.

Scheduled my appointment in July for September 9th; LCTF just came in the mail today...turnaround from appointment was 2 weeks. Not bad considering the full 45 day turnaround I had expected.

Erie County, walked in today, paid 20 bucks, waited for three in front of me to process. Once seated, took ~ 8 minutes, then was handed an LTCF. No REFERENCES required, as that area on the form was blocked out.

No more than 20 minutes from the security check to exiting the court house, and on such a lovely fall day.

York county : approx. 4 days from the time the renewal app was mailed in with a check. When I picked it up at the courthouse I thanked the sheriffs for not using an excuse and dragging their feet like the philly counties. He said they are headed that way too, because they can't keep up.

You know, there would be no trouble keeping up if the LTCF was not required.

    Just sayin'...

I'm up for renewal soon, and I'm looking for feedback on Dauphin County. The standard "satellite LTCF offices" are closed. Is the Sheriff still processing onsite in real-time?

I've had issues in the past with the Deputy requiring SSN filed on the form. Is this still an issue?

Here in Philadelphia, it only took 10 mins to apply online and pay the fee then two weeks to get approved but it took 6 weeks for the appointment date to pick it up. At the appointment it only took 5 mins to take my picture and print & laminate the license.
