    Default Shoot to kill, or shoot to wound?

    Pros and cons of each? Why did you pick what you did?

    Personally in a defense scenario, I'd shoot to kill to avoid possible legal "liability".

    You never shoot to kill.     You shoot to make the perp stop whatever he is doing that is a threat to you or whoever. IF... you happen to kill him in the process. OH WELL. But you never had any intention of killing him. It just went that way as you tried to stop him.
