Default How would you control gas in this combo?

I have an 11.5" SBR with a Sandman K that has a Bootleg adjustable BCG. It works fairly well but I feel there's a better way to control gas. I am gathering parts to do a 10.3-10.5 build with a DA Nomad and am going back and forth between an adjustable gas block or possibly something like an EZ Tune custom sized gas tube. Or even a bleed off style gas block. FWIW, I am about 85% sure I want to run a Criterion Core barrel which is claimed to be properly sized for both suppressed and unsuppressed use. Thoughts, input, suggestions?

Don't know about your specific bits, but personally I control gas by consuming fewer legumes and spicy foods.

I've been eating a lot of Taco Bell lately so I need more help than you can imagine.

Some unserious reply might say try some Beano in your reloads but I wouldn’t say that.

What’s your issue with the gas? Is it gas in your face? Try one of the charging handles designed to seal off the charging handle area.

I thought it was bs but couldn’t believe the difference

I run an adjustable bleed off style gas block on my suppressed 6.5 Grendel. Paid $85 for it and it adjusts from the front of the block and not the side. I am happy with it and function so far.

I have a PRI Gas Buster to go in the upper. I have confidence in that.

I've got it in mine too, though they're out of stock basically everywhere so I can finishy SBR.

(I can't say my comments are as valid since I use an OSS suppressor).

    Yes. The clamp on style.

I’ve used the clamp on style adjustable gas blocks, heavy spring & H2 buffer on every build I’ve done for years. My latest is the same except using a Armaspec sound mitigation H2 buffer. I don’t believe a better setup exists. My setup works with everything from light 50gr loads up to 77gr. Factory & my own reloads.
