I had sent an email outlining the time and said it is not very encouraging re future purchases. "They" responded pretty quickly:

I'm sorry you are not encouraged.* We put a disclaimer on our homepage stating that we are running about 5 business days from the date of the order to the date of shipment so people wouldn't be surprised with the delay.* I'm sorry that you didn't see it so you would have been expecting a delay.* I will try to make some changes on the site for that information to be in more locations through the site.* Our typical ship time is 1-2 business days when sales are at a more typical pace.

I thanked them for the response and explanation, that I understood, no worries re future purchases or words to that effect.

Re using mail...it was their cheap option...flat rate, 4 bucks. Flat rate ships priority mail. 3-4 days from them to me.
