    Exclamation US Palm AK30R AK-47 7.62x39mm 30-Round Magazine

    Anyone have tried these are they worth $11 or just another regular run of the mill AK47 mag ?

    The "R" stands for "Range" mags, which means they don't have any of the steel reinforcements that the standard US Palm mags have. I've got six of the original US Palm AK mags and they're fantastic.

    Not sure about how these range mags would hold up under adverse conditions. Based on this review from Mrgunsngear, not too well.

    I think I'd be more inclined to buy Tapco mags for $8.99.
    I understand that "regular" US Palm mags are good, but if you aren't looking for a "combat mag", it's hard to beat Tapco mags.
    They look a bit ugly to me, but they seem to work well enough.

    Tapco no longer exists, so eventually the supply of them will disappear.
