Re: Marylander STARED at me
That guy is an easy one to pick apart.
How scared could he have been if he had no qualms about walking up to you a complete stranger who’s armed and speaking his opinion, which you the scary guy did not ask for.
If this scares the shit out of him then how does he feel about the rioting, looting, and the beatings and murder of innocent people Who are just going about their business that has been going on for the last 2 months?
As a vet and 2A supporter how scared is he about the socialist/Marxist movements that are trying to take over under the guise of social justice and equality?
If he finds all that scary too then how would one protect themselves from that?
If he believes in the militia and all that then is it not the obligation of the militia to always be ready at a moments notice? That’s the way it’s always been and having an unarmed militia is pretty useless.
Another old guy that retired without a plan and watching CNN became his hobby.Last edited by Hodgie; July 18th, 2020 at 11:20 AM.

Re: Marylander STARED at me
I agree and could have picked him apart, but I did only agree to a few seconds of my time.
Any way, all kidding aside, when he just gives up and walks away, I didn't want it to then look like I was chasing him down trying to start something. I also had my doubts about his proclaimed "service", but I just let that go as well."If you're not catching flak, you're not over the target"

Having good situational awareness would lead me to keep an eye on the guy with the gun. Just saying. There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Re: Marylander STARED at me
@Hodgie depending on his age I'd have raped him with:
You're a vet, well I'm not. But a bunch of my family was though.
Grandpa did 4 years, in England, Army Air Corps, during WW2.
Wife's grandpa also did 4, on a destroyer, same time frame.
Maternal grand uncles were Foreign Legion, same time frame.
Dad did 20 in the Air Force, during that fun time frame called Vietnam.
But you have something right now none of them have... Life, Liberty, and Freedom. You see, they're all DEAD. They all died for the right you're now exercising; to express your feelings towards someone who's exercising a constitutionally GUARANTEED RIGHT, someone who you have implicated as being scary. Funny I must not be all THAT scary, since you chose of your own free will to interact with me. I would think someone who's served would have more physical constitution than to have his jimmies so rustled by someone the likes of me; doing no harm to no one.Member: NJ "undocumented" Felons Club. Re: Marylander STARED at me
Your guaranteed right is a pipe dream. If that were so, why the various laws creating hurdles...some of which being impossible to follow.
Talk to Marylanders, New Yawkers, Jersiyites, Kalyvornjans asking how that GUARANTEED RIGHT is going for them. The Marylander was possibly fighting shocked disbelief, firm in his conviction that the OC'er was absolutely breaking the law and therefor dangerous. There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Unfortunately, it's all-too-true of many Pennsylvanians too.
I normally CC via an IWB holster on my right hip, and big baggy shirts.l (That said shirts also hide my gut is immaterial to this discussion!)
The other day being hotternell, I ditched the overshirt and just had my tucked-in t-shirt on... so not quite FULL open carry, but not much concealed about it either. Ran into Sheetz to get a drink and got plenty of 'the look' from folks there. I didn't survey the license plates in the parking lot, but I strongly suspect they were just suburban Mechanicsburg Karens, not out-of-staters.DGAF
