Nope ! Sorry, I like the idea of having them too (backup? ) the idea of interchanging calibers depending on whats available gives me a warm fuzzy... They are not super expensive (under $200) depending on what you want. Bond arms doesn't sell directly anymore, but Bucksnort.com is who they recommended, I am sure there are others.

Got the new barrel yesterday ! 3.5 inches long and will fit 3 inch shells ... installed in 2 minutes (less?) and fits like a dream - now to find time to play with it !

range reports will happen ... IF I can find any .410 shells for under $30 for a box of 5 !!! Jeesh. I hate ordering ammo online, but that might be the only way to go, I was looking for regular birdshot shells 2-3/4 or 3 to start/pattern but all I could find were tungsten Heavi-shot turkey loads 3" (and yes, I'm an idiot I bought a box - gun without ammo= rock)

My local one has federal loaded with 9 shot, that's what I'd get for snakes. Stay away from the remington 6 shot, it wouldn't even pattern out of mine.

Well, I finally got some 410 loads - went out to shoot a couple of rounds - first off 2.5 inch remington 1/2 ounce #9 shot max gram eq. - for snakes (the slithery kind) this would be perfect (note, I prefer to go around or capture snakes and tend to shuffle my gate when in rattler country- learned that back in Arizona on the Navajo reservation) the pattern was all over the place at 6 feet, but I shot a coke can at similar distance and destroyed it.
Next up were the 3 inch shells with 3/4 ounce #6 shot (winchester) only got a few pellets on the target at 6 feet - I will say after the first 2 rounds of 2.5 inches I was hurting bad and I'm sure that affected my aim and trigger pull - I DIDN'T want to do it - it hurt that bad ! My palm is actually bruised ! (have to switch to the left hand if I watch porn later ! )
The pistol performed beautifully, but is NOT fun to shoot (probably switch back to the 9mm barrel )

I'm kind of surprised the recoil bothered you with 2.5" shells, mine is very tame with them.

Might have been my grip (the way I was holding it -not the hard rubber on the sides) it's a little awkward to shoot. I will try again and see.
