I got to try out a National Guard simulator during a school field trip. An entire wall screen with full weight, full function M16's. They had a few different scenarios including a city street with hostages, open land with running targets, woodland, etc... It tracked your stats, point of impact, and even round count, (you had to reload).

Not exactly dry firing, but it was VERY fun.

Extra reason to look forward to NHL playoff games. They use a superimposed blue highlight to mark the puck at all times. On a decently sized screen, its an excellent moving target.

Or get a Pong emulator, and set it up to be computer vs computer, and try to track the ball.
