    Default .41 Magnum Charter Arms

Anyone using a .41 Charter Arms as their carry piece?
    How do you like it?
    What loads do you prefer?

Default Re: .41 Magnum Charter Arms

I wanted to get one when they first came out, now I see most sites are out of stock, Buds had them at sub $300 some time ago , that's what I get for procrastinating. I do have a S&W 657 Mountain Gun which is very nice and I do occasionally carry it in the winter months and it is always my hip gun when out hunting. I also have a 6.5" blackhawk in .41 along with a Henry Big Boy .41. My (non hunting ) load is the Winchester 175Gr Silvertip I purchased several boxes years ago from a LGS discount bin, they where marked $14.99, I paid 25% off that. what a steal!

My field load is a Hornady 210gr XTP over 20gr oh H110, its a bit stout

I am always looking for the Charter 41 Mag Pug on the used market, it looks as though Charter made one run of them and that...
