Wear a mask, or don't. It should be a personal decision, and there's no need to be nasty about it either way. People just need to go about their business & let others alone to make their own choices.

I was chatting with my neighbor last night and the subject of masks came up (that's a given these days). The one who's family owns an interest in a manufacturing company. He reports that the masks that they get and hand out by law have disclaimers right on the package that they are not effective against the chirus. If I wasn't living this shit I wouldn't believe it.

    No argument here.

I was referring to the possibility of the Secretary of Health being replaced, and it not happening until PA's inauguration day 2023, or shortly thereafter, if even then. The next governor may be even more of a virtue signaling progressive, because SEPA/Philly, Pittsburgh, Erie, and Centre County.

Well, no shit. Nobody ever claimed that they were meant to protect the wearer.
Wrong type of mask for that - but you already know that.

Exactly, I've got no qualms with whatever people want to wear.

The beer distributor I normally go to has not required masks for a while now. They had a sign on the door saying "it's your choice" until today. Today they had a sign "so sorry, no mask no entry" posted next to a letter they received from the liquor control board saying they would revoke their liquor license unless they complied with requiring people to wear masks.

I got yelled at by the lady in 7-11 today. I had to go out because my youngest kid saved his chore money for x box points. I've been trying to avoid going out, because I'm done with masks and I don't want harassed about it.

Anyway, I took my daughter with me and she got some sour patch kids. When we got to the counter the lady said we would need to wear a mask the next time we come back. I said "that's fine. We wont be back." She said, "Well that's everywhere. It's mandatory. It's the law now" I said "Well, it isn't the law." She said "Yes it is. They made it law yesterday." I said "Laws must be passed by both chambers of Congress and then signed by the..." at this point she got irate and began yelling. "You know what? I'm not going to argue with you. Do you want to stop the corona virus? Just wear the freaking mask!" I remained calm and said "All I want is to pay for my items and go home, like people used to do... in America." That calmed her down for some reason. She just said "well..." and trailed off.

So then I paid for the x box card and the candy and I told her I hope she will have a good day and we left. When we hit the door she hollered something about hope we dont get the corona virus. I didn't answer. We just went home, and now I'm going to have a whiskey.
