Delco LTCF Renewal BS.

I just tried the online system. I called back in November and got an appointment on June 1st. Figured if I can renew online saves me a trip to the court house. Entered all of my info, uploaded pic of license, etc. clicked continue to next step and was told my LCTF is expired and I need to submit a new application. Clicked ok and lost all of my information. Seems to be no accommodation for the lack of Sheriff's Office availability and multiple extensions of LTCF expiration dates.

That's a runaround, renewal and first app are no different, you just check one box different. The process on their end is the same.

How about lost license's? Just noticed mine is missing. I saw the form,
but dont know if you are allowed to physically go to the courthouse.

Renewed online. Submitted application on 5/27. Received notification of approval 30 minutes ago. First thought was 26 days is not too bad from a timing perspective.Then, I went to schedule an appointment to pick up my permit. First available date was Monday July 26th.

WHY do other counties have same day instant LTCF renewals and we are stuck with these ancient hag wagons who drag their feet at every opportunity to impede the system?

FWIW, I got my renewal letter in Dec 21.
Went to media last Wednesday around 2 pm.
Found a parking spot pretty quickly.
In for my mug shot and out in minutes
No one else around.

Got my letter on Saturday
Went back Tuesday
At the metal check, one of the officers wanding me asked if I knew where I wanted to go.
I replied yes.
He said are you exercising your 2nd ammendment rights.
I said I am.
He said good on you.

When in the Sheriff's office, I asked the young lady there if they were busy.
she replied " All day, everyday !"

This was also around 2 PM
Found parking fast and in & out in minutes.

Funny to me, the back side of my LCFA is like the Sheriff's business card.

Was there any indication of lockers for checking firearms? Or did you just carry into the office?

I went in mid December and received my letter to pick it up about a week later. Total time spent in the courthouse was less than a half hour. Very surprised.
