The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Hey, c'mon now. Maybe these kids are political proteges, I am sure they did plenty of research on which candidate they believe represented their beliefs the best. No outside influence at all (from parents, media, teachers etc.) Just 'cause they're kids, doesn't mean they aren't political pundits with exceedingly advanced knowledge of economics, health care etc..

I saw something on TV the other day about this, NObama was talking about it and had some kids around him during the commercial.

But even at that, it's 51-49, which is pretty close. I figured it would have been a larger margin.

My niece (who lives with us permanently) is in second grade and they had a vote in school. She told me she was voting for obama, but couldn't tell me why. I explained obama's "redistribute the wealth plan" and she thought that sounded pretty good...until I related it to HER halloween candy. "so if you get too much candy trick or treating, we'll take some and give it to the kids who didn't bother to go out." "nooo!"

That is what we have to do. My kids used to roll their eyes and start saying, "oh don't talk about politics again." I sat them down and explain in terms like the halloween candy to make them understand. I showed them how much money is taken out of my paycheck and explained what we could do with that money instead of giving it to some other folks that we know. My kids associate McCain with someone like dad, who works hard for his money and they don't find it fair that I have some of my money taken to feed some random crack whore instead of using it for vacation with the family.

Good do everything you possibly can. Because the rest of their life will be spent getting bombarded with BS.

I'd rep for being a good parent. (Gotta spread some love) That shit is important, yet so often simply avoided. ?
