He's up for re election this year and most don't even know the name of his GOP opponent. It's going to be a repeat of the Bob Casey re-election

Shapiro has higher aspirations. He’s either going to run for Governor or take a shot at Toomey’s Senate seat when Toomey files for his Governor bid

It is a shame there is not enough gun owners in the state to become politically involved to stop this from happening. We have to maintain a republican majority in the Pa. house. Of not, shame on us.

1 in 4 Pennsylvania residents own guns, and one in ten have ltcf. But only a thousand or so turn out for the big rallies, maybe a few thousand actively call/email/pester their reps when this kind of crap comes around. There are over a million ltcf holders and over 3 million firearm owners. The turnout is pitiful; we should be the biggest unified voting block by a mile.

Since gun ownership or LTCF are not verified voter statistics it's kind of hard to say that we're not turning out.

If the numbers are even close to being accurate regarding gun owners, etc., how did we land up with casey and wuff and both defended their seat? I am an old man and my shooting days are numbered, but I do feel sorry for the younger generation coming up.
As it was pointed out to me in a prior post, many gun owners are democrats. Perhaps they should sell their guns now and avoid the train wreck that was due in part to their voting.

The only rallies that matter are on election day and that's where gun owners really fail. They're usually too busy to vote.

It isn't a matter of voteing but rather cultural assertion. That's where our side should be knocking it out of the park but apparently sucks worse than almost every other kind of people there is.
